Mary, I want to thank you for teaching me the harp. You've given me something I really truly love, and I'll be forever in your debt for it. You're a wonderful teacher, and just a wonderful person. I've learned so much from you, and I'll be forever grateful. To everyone thinking of playing the harp, this is someone to learn from. She adapts to how and what you want to learn and is a wonderful person to be around. Mary, thank you so much for everything. Love, Rose

Mary, There is nothing as soothing and elegant as the sound of a harp - it so moves the soul! Your music at the wedding of my daughter & son-in-law (Christina & Vincent Granito, 9/2/05),was so lovely; it completed the ambiance that we wanted to create in their beautiful garden wedding. Thanks so much to you and Bill!

I had heard OF Mary for several years as a harpist. I had the pleasure of hearing her play last year and this year at the Living Last Supper. This year I was looking for a piano teacher for my 7 year old son and was pleasantly surprised to find that Mary teaches beginning piano! My son just loves her! Her relaxed and stress-free attitude is perfect for teaching music to a child -- all for the love and enjoyment of music! Thank you Mary! Jack can't wait for next week already. Right now he is back on the piano playing Pachelbel's Canon. I played it for him on your sound bytes, and he is in there practicing. Thanks again. Jo Smith

I just wanted to thank Mary & Bill so much for the beautiful music played at my mom & dads 25th anniversary party. I received so many compliments on what a lovely time everyone was having and how the harpist added such an elegant touch! We were all so pleased with how the event turned out & thankyou both for your part in it. We would hire Mary again in an instant if the oppurtunity arises & would recommend her to anyone interested in hosting an occasion where you were looking for something "more than just a DJ" and a little different! My parents were so surpised and so glad we chose to have a harpist play-they said it was a real treat! We agreed! Also one more thankyou for helping in making the renewal of their vows more special-it truly was beautiful!!! God Bless you both!!!

Hi! I think I'm Mary's newest and possibly oldest student.I'm hoping some of her wonderful talent rubs off on me. In the meantime, she is a very flexible, accommodating and patient teacher. If you would like to learn to play the harp, but think you're too old, or too un-musical, put yourself in Mary's hands. I may not be headed to Carnegie Hall any time soon, but I'm having a wonderful time with my folk harp.

Hi, Mary. It's great to see you online. I hope it adds to your business as well as pleasure. I got your web address from Carole Haines. You can see me, if you want, at: www.princeton.edu/~mmsherry/ I don't know whether you had heard or not, but I got married on May 2nd to Stuart Rich, a man I've known through chamber music for about eight years. We are very happy. We just got back from a lovely two weeks in Turkey, poking around Istanbul and touring some of the archaeological sites in Anatolia in western Turkey. Hope to see you, or better yet, hear you again soon! Best regards, Peggy

That unnamed tune is distinctly march-like; why not call it "Mary's March"? (Also has a sort of medieval flavor, reminds me a little of the Freisinger Petruslied.) Really nice piece. --pH

I loved listening to the music! My title for your nameless tune would be "Waiting On The Shore." It has a decidedly Celtic air to it. Good luck with your compositions. Love, Penny

Hi Mary! What a great web site you have! I'm your fellow MHTP student. For your unnamed tune, I think of Chapel Bells, so I would entitle it either "Chapel Bells" or "The Chapel Beckons". Tell me more about the Harp Ring. What are the qualifications to join? Peggy Jaegly

Awesome harping Mary Lebus! I admire the discipline and tenacity of anyone who has the discipline to master such a complex instrument -- not to mention the effort to lug it around to perform! I enjoyed your presentation of Gaelic music in one of Department of Defenses's largest research center -- which is sort of an odd concept in itself if you think about it. Keep up the great effort to bring music that is healing and mentally stimulating to the masses! One question, how will you work the slinky into the act? Steve

Dear Mary, I am in a chanting group and we are looking for a harpist but I'm not sure if my teacher found one so don't keep your hopes up.b Anyways we would like you to lay In Paridisum. I have a good name for that nameless song "Angels Wedding". Well e-mail me. Sincerly, Samantha
